Salman Khan must be on cloud nine. Or if there is anything above that, you’ll surely find him there. Because his latest film Ready is emerging as a superhit at the Indian box office. With little competition from the new release Shaitan, Ready thundered on in its second-week run at theatres with no let-up in collections. The film witnessed an exceptionally good second weekend. It collected Rs. 4.5 crores on Friday, Rs. 5.9 crores on Saturday and the collections shot up to Rs 9.05 crores on Sunday. The total second-weekend collection amounts to more than Rs 19 crores. The film has made close to Rs. 90 crores in its run so far and is the biggest Bollywood hit of 2011. It is expected to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark by the end of this week. In a nutshell, Ready is already a hit and on its way to be a superhit. On the other hand, Shaitan, released last Friday, managed a paltry collection of Rs. 3.41 crores in its opening weekend.
